Transport to and from BolognaFiere
BolognaFiere is the first exhibition center with its own dedicated motorway exit, allowing direct access to the fairgrounds.
Coming from Florence, Milan, or Ancona, take the “BOLOGNA FIERA” exit on the A14 highway
From Padua, take the A13 motorway and exit at Arcoveggio. Join the Bologna ring road (Tangenziale) towards San Lazzaro and take exit 8 (North, Michelino, Moro entrances and Michelino Parking) or exit 7 (Constitution entrance and Parking).
For those arriving from Bologna Centrale railway station (4 km away), the exhibition district can be reached from Piazzale Medaglie d’Oro via bus lines 35 and 38 (35 and 39 for the return journey), which stop at the entrances on Piazza Costituzione and Viale Aldo Moro, serving BolognaFiere.
For those coming from the city center (less than 5 km away), the fair can be reached by bus line 28, which connects directly to BolognaFiere.
Through the app Roger, you can purchase your ticket directly and plan your route to reach the fair.
The Bologna Centrale railway station is one of the largest railway hubs at both national and European level. With more than 700 trains per day—including regional, Intercity, and high-speed services operated by Trenitalia and Italo—Bologna is easily accessible from any Italian city and many international destinations. Once you arrive at the central station, BolognaFiere can be reached via:
– TAXI – taxi ranks at the Piazza Medaglie d’Oro exit and at the Kiss&Ride area on Via Carracci – BUS – TPER bus lines: 35 and 38 from Piazzale Medaglie d’Oro – ON FOOT – approximately 30 minutes from the Via Carracci exit
Additionally, during major events with high attendance, the “BolognaFiere” railway stop may be activated with special train services.

The Bologna exhibition district is 8.5 km from the intercontinental airport Guglielmo Marconi, served by numerous airlines connecting Bologna with Italian, European, and international destinations.
From the airport, BolognaFiere can be reached by taxi (8.5 km).
At the Marconi Airport, the dedicated monorail train Marconi Express is also available, reaching Bologna Centrale railway station in just 7 minutes.
During The Country Fair Bologna, a free circular shuttle service will be available to make it easier for visitors to reach the event and help reduce traffic around the exhibition area.

The shuttle will operate continuously along the following route:

BolognaFiere – Piazza Costituzione Entrance
Once it reaches the fairgrounds, the shuttle will automatically continue its route and start the loop again.
